Drawing again
Sketches, a self-portrait, some line work, and a couple Draw-This-In-Your-Style takes.
Trained as an artist, working as an engineer, thinking like an architect. I build custom software and lead the teams behind it — because I've never believed there's a one-size-fits-all solution to anything.
I build things out of other things and make a space fit me instead of the other way around. Metal, wood, resin, glass — the material changes, the instinct doesn't.
The strongest where it's ambiguous: finding the real problem, setting technical direction, and building a custom solution from a sensible base.
Trained. Three degrees — graphic design, illustration, photography. Design and craft aren't afterthoughts.
Art photography — nature and portrait work, among other things. The eye that came before the code.
Tools and experiments — some shipped, some in progress, all built to scratch an itch.
A classless CSS baseline — the stylesheet you start with. It styles semantic HTML out of the box, and it's what this site runs on.
